Presented over the course of three weeks, The Heavy Water War depicts one of the most exciting true-life stories from World War II—the Nazi’s efforts to develop an atom bomb and the Allies’ desperate struggle to prevent it from happening. One of the dramatic high points is the daring sabotage mission to blow up the heavy water factory in the Norwegian mountains in 1943, the outcome of which will determine the future of democracy.

In this final installment, Tronstad’s mission to sabotage the heavy water plant is a success, but the Nazis begin to rebuild, drawing American bombers into the fray. When the Nazis attempt to relocate the damaged plant to Germany, Tronstad and the Allies reluctantly come together to subvert their plans.
