SAT—February 27—11 AM (ET) through SAT—March 6
*The YouTube Premiere will air from 11-11:30 AM on February 27 and remain live on this page through March 6.*
On Saturday, February 27 at 11 AM ET, join us for a workshop and a visit to Tero Kuitunen´s colorful studio in Kruununhaka, Helsinki! A spatial and product designer, Kuitunen has also created several curated exhibitions, and will be one of the three artists on view in the studio exhibition Between Us at Amos Rex this spring. Through his haptic work creating handmade art and design objects, Tero wants to find something that moves and touches people; materials and colors are often his biggest inspiration when starting a new design project.
During the studio visit, we will also learn how to make a woven wall hanging with paper yarn and craft mesh in a craft workshop! This simple but impressive technique Tero has lately applied to his design work blurs the line between art and design.
The studio visit and workshop will take place via Premiere on YouTube and Facebook; links will appear here on Friday, February 26. Set reminders at the links to be notified to watch and chat with us when it begins!
