DESCRIPTION:*This workshop is intended for ages 13-18; tickets may be purchased for this workshop exclusively or as a series bundle.* \nThis teen art workshop offers a general introduction to printmaking as an artistic form\, and a complete introduction to the techniques and possibilities of linoleum carving and block-printing. As part of our Summer Paper & Printmaking series\, this workshop emphasizes skill-building\, experimentation\, material exploration\, and process-based approaches to art-making. Participants will be guided through the exciting process of developing a design\, translating it into a linoleum carving and printing it on both paper and fabric. This workshop is the perfect place to start for anyone who has ever been curious about printmaking\, stamp carving\, or textile design. \nAll materials\, postage\, and addresses are provided.
