Learn the Nordic languages in classes offered this spring at Scandinavia House! In this course for those who are still new to Swedish but have a basic knowledge of sentence structure, greetings, times and numbers, and basic vocabulary, students will learn sentence structure in sentences with more than one verb, placement of adverbs, plural endings, conjugation of adjectives, objective and possessive pronouns, and the past tense. Various cultural aspects will also be highlighted during the course.

At the end of the semester students will know:

• How to structure sentences with more than one verb
• The conjugation of adjectives
• The past tense

Students will be able to:

• Talk about their families and things they’ve done or do, as well as make future plans and purchase items.
