SUMMARY:EEPPI URSIN | MY FINNISH SOUL VOL. 2
DESCRIPTION:Beloved Finnish-American vocalist\, pianist\, and songwriter Eeppi Ursin celebrates the release of her new album My Finnish Soul vol. 2 at Scandinavia House on January 14th! \nBased in New York City\, Ursin continues her musical journey into Finnish nostalgia with a highly anticipated second volume of Finnish classics\, presented through intimate and beautifully stripped-down vocal and piano arrangements. Responding to audience requests\, the album features interpretations of timeless favorites including Ievan polkka\, Sininen ja valkoinen\, and Juokse sinä humma. \nThe album also includes three original compositions by the award-winning songwriter\, inspired by her experiences as an expatriate Finn. Sisu Song reflects the well-known Finnish concept of sisu—determination\, resilience\, and inner strength. RMS Carpathia\, named after one of the great ships that carried immigrants across the Atlantic\, pays tribute to the millions of people who arrived at Ellis Island in search of better lives and new opportunities. \nPurchase tickets
