The Danish series Follow the Money /Bedrag picks up in the second season with Claudia’s release from prison, seeking revenge on the person who put her there, and Mads and Alf’s continued investigation, which becomes increasingly dangerous as they become entangled in Knud Christensen’s financial web. In episode 1, Claudia is released on parole after serving 18 months in prison, and is contacted by Knud to look into a contact at Absalon Bank; she agrees, but has her own motives. Meanwhile, Mads works a suspicious case that leads to fatal consequences.
In episode 2, Mads is guilt-ridden about what happened at Nova Bank and digs further into the company, leading him to clash with Nicky. After revealing Knud’s plans, Claudia starts working at Absalon Bank to help them outmaneuver him.
