Over the course of two Saturdays, native Icelanders Hildur Loftsdóttir and Steinunn Harðardóttir will use lopi – Icelandic wool – to teach fun and informative knitting basics for knitters of all ages and abilities. Author and knitting designer Védis Jónsdóttir will also introduce the unique qualities and patterns of Icelandic wool.

Participants will receive 2 balls of yarn (Icelandic lopi by Istex), but are asked to bring their own knitting needles – circular 6mm/U.S. #10.
