The New Literature from Europe Festival returns to Scandinavia House this December. Featuring readings and discussions among leading and emerging literary voices from Europe, as well as some of America’s foremost writers and critics, the Festival celebrates important new European literature in translation.

How does the work of a painter, musician, or visual artist influence the work of a writer? Authors Ann Cotten, Stefan Hertmans, Martí Sales, and Krisztina Tóth discuss and reflect upon the ways in which music and art has shaped and influenced their own work. Moderated by author and publisher of Open letter Books at the University of Rochester, Chad W. Post.
