Each Saturday afternoon, Scandinavia House presents our Saturday Art Workshops, which invite children to work with Nordic themes in the Halldór Laxness Library. Nordic fairy tales are full of fantastic characters and magical settings – this November we delve into stories and storytelling through practices in 3-D visual arts. Join us on Saturdays for book binding, puppet-making and crafting miniature theaters!

In this workshop, children will create shoebox-sized puppet theaters with tiny puppets. Our art teachers will help you to build a whimsical miniature fairy-tale world, and give you the tools to make your very own little puppet performance.
