How do today’s playwrights relate to their important predecessor August Strindberg? 2012 marks the 100th anniversary of Strindberg’s death. To commemorate the jubilee, Scandinavian American Theater Company (SATC) has commissioned a diverse group of the most exciting American and

Scandinavian playwrights to write short plays in response to Strindberg’s iconic Miss Julie/Fröken Julie (1888). Join SATC for a special presentation of these brand new 15-20 minute plays and a panel discussion about Strindberg’s influence on today’s working playwrights.
