Sauna

Written by Tomas Lagermand Lundme (Denmark, 2008) and translated by Nina Sokol (Denmark/U.S., 2014). Far from the stress of everyday life, a group of Danes who connected online choose to meet in person in a sauna, but with the strict rule of not discussing the past.

What are they running from? W hat are they trying to cure? What if all dirt, judgement, and guilty conscience could be purged at this fateful meeting? Sauna is a mad, funny, touching, and scary look into playwright Tomas Lagermand Lundme’s feverish imagination.
