Jazz returns to Scandinavia House this summer with six Thursday evening performances from some of Scandinavia’s most talented young musicians, composers, and singers. Purchase a series pass to all six concerts for just $60 ($40 ASF Members). All concerts feature a pre-concert reception on the Scandinavia House terrace starting at 6 PM.

Klabbes Bank is a Swedish six-piece ensemble led keyboardist Klas-Henrik Hörngren. Founded in 2002 as a jazz band, the group’s sound has evolved into a blissful mix of rock, pop, electronica, jazz and free improvisational music.

About Klabbes Bank

In recent years, the Swedish six-piece ensemble Klabbes Bank has toured extensively throughout Scandinavia with appearances in Great Britain and Mexico, where Protect the Forest was re-released. The album also made it to numerous “Best Release of the Year” lists in 2012 as well as receiving Grammy, Jazzkatt and Mani- fest nominations. The group’s previous record, Je Suis La Mer, was named 2009s “Best Swedish Jazz Release” by Swedish dailies SvD and DN.
