Based on the best-selling Finnish children’s series, this family comedy follows brothers Tatu and Patu, a pair of clever inventors from Oddswville, where things are often done a bit…differently. When they’re invited to the big city to experience Christmas with their best friend, Veera, a missed connection at a train station leads the duo into a series of comedic  misadventures. This warm and funny film is about friendship, and how it’s perfectly okay to be weird or different.

Tatu and Patu is the debut film of award-winning director Rike Jokela (Finland, 2016), who is also the creator of the highly popular Finnish crime drama series, River. The film is adapted from the “Tatu and Patu” book series by Aino Havukainen and Sami Toivonen.
