Saturday Art Workshops Wearing Meaning

Each Saturday morning, Scandinavia House presents arts and storytelling for children. Our Saturday morning art workshops invite children to work with Nordic themes in the Halldór Laxness Library.

In this workshop we’ll delve into Scandinavian jewelry and its many forms and ancient meanings. We’ll then create our own meaningful pieces of art that we can wear. We’ll get in touch with nature working with materials such as wood, feathers, and clay.

Ages 5+ are welcome. Join us for a day of creative expression!
