Scandinavia House is located at 58 Park Avenue, four blocks south of Grand Central Station.


As of Monday, March 16, Scandinavia House will be closed until further advisement regarding ongoing safety precautions against COVID-19 in NYC.  This includes Smörgås Chef restaurant, the Shop, the Children’s Center, and all other spaces. Programming is currently postponed.

    The Heimbold Family Children’s Playing and Learning Center will be closed beginning March 14. Please check our website for updates.

    $15/child (Open to public, space permitting)

    We recommend arriving before 4 pm when entering with daily passes. Members are given priority access. To secure a spot on Saturdays, please purchase a Day Pass in advance.

    Open to ASF Play & Learning Center Passholders ONLY

    Admission is for children ages 1 through 5.
    Please note that children must be walking on their own to be admitted. A maximum of two adults are admitted with each child.

  • Photography

    Except where noted, photography for personal use is allowed with hand-held cameras and available light or electronic flash attachments. Tripods and lights may not be used. Reproduction or sale of photographs is not allowed without the permission of ASF. No flash photography is allowed in the Gallery.
