ASF Fellowships for Americans in the Nordic Countries

The American-Scandinavian Foundation (ASF) is now accepting applications for Fellowships for Americans in the Nordic Countries in the 2024-25 academic year. Additionally, ASF is pleased to announce the new Inger and Jens Bruun Fellowship, supported by the ScanDesign Foundation, for advanced study and research related to environmental stewardship and sustainability in Denmark (including Greenland and the Faroe Islands).

ASF offers fellowships for graduate students (preferably dissertation-related), academic professionals, and creative artists interested in pursuing research or creative arts projects in the Nordic region (Denmark, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Finland, Norway, Sweden, and Sámpi). Awards are given in all fields. Requests may be made for projects of between 4-12 months for up to $23,000 and for those between 1-3 months for up to $5,000.
