Join us for an evening of botanical relief printing with artist Margrethe Aanestad! This class will explore the creative process of coating plant parts in ink and pressing them onto paper or fabric, which results in a direct, mirrored and highly detailed impression of the leaf’s organic veins and edges. After learning about the technique, we’ll experiment and create our own artworks.

This workshop is part of a 3-session series, “Impressions: Carved & Pressed,” focused on printmaking using various mediums. The class may be experienced individually or as part of a progression, with 3-session bundles available. All materials are provided. No prior experience is required. (18+)
