Learn the Nordic languages in classes offered this semester at Scandinavia House! This course continues to build on our basic skills by deepening the work with adjective conjugation, prepositions, modality verbs and the past tense, while also introducing another verb tense. Various cultural aspects will be highlighted during the course. Students will also begin to read assigned easy-to-read books over the course of the semester.

This class will take place as hybrid learning, with Monday sessions online only via Zoom and Wednesday sessions both online and in-person at Scandinavia House.

At the end of the semester students will know:

  • Present perfect tense
  • Comparative of the adjective
  •  The use of indefinite pronouns

Students will be able to:

  • Talk about things they have done in the past, make plans, compare products while making purchases and ask for or give directions.

Prerequisite: Beginner Swedish 2 level or equivalent. Instructions for remote learning will be emailed upon registration. For questions about language levels, please contact Malin Tybahl. Tuition is $499 ($449.10 ASF Members); 15 hours total class time over 9 weeks.

**There will be no classes on April 1, 22 & 24 and May 27.**
