In the lecture professor Peter Arbo will give an assessment of the Arctic governance arrangements and their viability. He will discuss how they have evolved, their strengths and weaknesses, and the extent to which they can be copied and transferred to other regions.

About the Speaker

Peter Arbo is a professor at the University of Tromsø – The Arctic University of Norway.

He is currently the American-Scandinavian Foundation’s Visiting Lecturer from Norway, engaged at Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.
