A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman

A Man Called Ove (Washington Square Press, 2015) is a delightfully quirky debut novel from Swedish author Fredrik Backman in which a grumpy, yet lovable man finds his solitary world turned on its head when a boisterous young family movies in next door.

A feel-good story, Backman’s novel is a thoughtful exploration of the profound impact one life has on countless others.
