Join curator Ásthildur B. Jónsdóttir for an afternoon art workshop in conjunction with Scandinavia House’s exhibition, Borrowed Time: Icelandic Artists Look Forward, a new project looking at sustainability through mythical Icelandic animals, ancient Viking knitting methods, and underwater photography.
The workshop will start with a conversation in the gallery, after which children will create their own collage-based projects inspired by their memories of and relationships to natural places. Materials will be provided but feel free to bring your own image/s of the natural world to work with and share!
