The director, Stig Björkman, and Isabella Rossellini will be present and participate in a Q & A session following the screening.

Directed by Stig Björkman (Sweden, 2015). Ingrid Bergman in Her Own Words/Jag är Ingrid combines excerpts from Bergman’s personal letters and diaries (read by Alicia Vikander), interviews with her children (Pia Lindström and Isabella, Ingrid, and Roberto Rossellini) and close friends (including Liv Ullmann and Sigourney Weaver), and film footage shot by Bergman herself to create an incredibly personal portrait of  one of the most beloved and celebrated actresses of American cinema.

The documentary provides audiences with a captivating look behind the scenes of the remarkable personal and professional life of a young girl who left Sweden for Hollywood and went on to become a three-time Oscar winner. This lovingly crafted film pays tribute to one of Scandinavia’s, and America’s, most enchanting artists. 2015 marks the centenary of Ingrid Bergman’s birth (August 29, 1915) and has brought about a worldwide celebration of her work and her life.  Ingrid Bergman in Her Own Words/Jag är Ingrid is a well-timed celebration of an extraordinary woman.
