A Nordic Noir classic, The Bridge (Bron/Broen) follows Detective Saga Norén as she and her colleagues investigate a series of crimes committed around the bridge connecting Sweden and Denmark. After the events of Season 1, Season 2 kicks off with a ship crashing into Øresund Bridge that is later found to hold three Swedish and two Danish youths who are both ill. Saga is sent to investigate and reunites with Martin, as they make a disturbing discovery. In episode 2, a video is posted online of four individuals wearing animal masks who claim responsibility for the attack. Meanwhile, several deaths are reported as a result of eating poisoned grocery items. Saga and Martin are quick to connect the two cases, setting off a desperate race against time to find the perpetrator.

Screenings of The Bridge Season 3 (episodes 1 & 2) will continue from July 15-18, followed by Season 4 (episodes 1 & 2) from July 22-25. The Summer of Suspense series will continue with screenings of The Killing in August.

Screenings of Season 2 episodes 1 & 2 will take place over four days (Thursday — Sunday), with all films available for viewing on a virtual cinema screening platform throughout this period. To download viewing instructions and an FAQ, please click here.
