Each Saturday afternoon, Scandinavia House presents our Saturday Art Workshops, which invite children to work with Nordic themes in the Halldór Laxness Library. Nordic fairy tales are full of fantastic characters and magical settings – this November we delve into stories and storytelling through practices in 3-D visual arts. Join us on Saturdays for book binding, puppet-making and crafting miniature theaters!

Books, stories and visual art are interwoven in this workshop. We will learn different ways of creating handmade, fantastical storybooks, and explore unusual materials and new ways of storytelling.
