Join us on February 22 for a workshop inspired by artwork in Scandinavia House’s current exhibition, Nordic Utopia? African Americans in the 20th Century. Many of the included artists were influenced by their move to different art scenes in Scandinavian countries, which also often connected to then-contemporary music and jazz. In this relaxed beginner workshop, teaching artist Margrethe Aanestad will guide students in using collage and painting techniques to create visual interpretations of music and sound. All materials will be provided.
There is a limit of 15 participants for this workshop.
