Entertainers Skoppa and Skrítla return to Scandinavia House with Iceland’s Santa Claus to introduce the Icelandic advent to NYC kids! These two creatures from the land of adventure will be joining us with a screening of the first episode of their new television series for Iceland’s Channel 2, which focuses on the search for Santa Claus.

Following the screening, we’ll sing traditional Icelandic holiday songs and dance around the Christmas tree.

About the Entertainers

Skoppa and Skritla have entertained Icelandic children for 14 years, primarily those who are between one and seven years old. They have aired over 100 television episodes as well as four theater plays along with books, CDs, and other merchandise.

They have visited Scandinavia House numerous times in the past for other adventures in NYC.

In celebration of the centenary of Iceland’s independence and sovereignty, Scandinavia House and the Consulate of Iceland in New York bring you an Icelandic movie of the month through 2018.
