SATURDAY ART WORKSHOPSSeries

MoreKids + Families

Join puppeteer Marte Ekhougen (a.k.a Doctor Superhelga) and her daughter Tyri to create your own nisse doll! A nisse is a creature from Nordic folklore associated with the winter solstice and the Christmas season. The nisse who live in Marte and Tyri’s home in Norway are both protective AND messy! If you are kind to them, they will bring you presents and much joy on Christmas Eve. Marte and Tyri will show you how to design and create your own family of nisse for a happy holiday season!

This event will take place as a virtual premiere on this page at 11 AM ET on December 18 via YouTube and Facebook. For links and to set a watch reminder, check back to this page closer to the date. It will remain available to stream on this page through December 24.
